PROTEST HARVEST

A thought-provoking artwork that challenges the traditional systems of sperm donation and questions the value we place on human biological material. The piece features a collection of real samples contained in individual glass test tubes, each meticulously labeled with the title of the work, the artist's name, and the date of the harvest. These test tubes are artfully presented within a vacuum-sealed bag, emphasizing the commercial aspect of the artwork.

In the past year, I received daily ads from The European Bank of Sperm. The terms and conditions say that they offer a mere £35 for each clinic visit. Astonished by the trivialization of such a valuable sample, my frustration became the driving force behind this artwork. By opting to bypass the European Bank of Sperm and conducting self-collection at home, I question the compensation offered by the bank. I therefore offer my own samples for sale at a slighlty higher price.
